Appearance Standing at 5'7 and weighing 126 pounds, Yuuki is an thin young woman with a brown skin tone and long dark brown hair. She normally wears a fitted burgundy colored blazer over a green top. She wears brown colored bottoms with black colored boots.
Personality Wanting Yuuki to not become anything like their past selves, Yuuki is somewhat the ideal child to her parents: A timid individual who doesn't really speak to others unless she's spoken to. Since friendships were something that came by so rarely, she can be very awkward and anxious around strangers who converse with her. She's a bookworm, and has her face buried in a book every minute. Yuuki is certain that she's very independent and intelligent since she learned to do a lot of things on her own while growing up. She's duty-driven, and will strive for her goals by whatever means, even if it takes years to achieve.
History Yuuki is an only child and was born in the Earth Republic. Both of Yuuki’s parents are Water Tribe natives from the Northern Tribes. According to her father; they left the Water Tribe to adjust to a new life. Yuuki, just like her mother, was born a waterbender, and it wasn’t long before she began displaying her affinity to water at the age of six. Growing up, Yuuki’s parents ignored the importance of Yuuki’s ability to bend since they believed the era they lived in lacked any signs of trouble. The older she got, the more she begged for a waterbending teacher. However, the more she begged, the more it made her parents put it on hold. Her parents constant working and mediocre lifestyle made Yuuki a very socially awkward butterfly. It wasn’t easy for her to make friends and she often did things on her own. She constantly got bullied, and her parents were to busy to even realize her suffering. She found her love for literature and read books almost all the time. She always imagined what it would be like to be as wonderful of a bender like the many legendary female icons in her history books and even fairy tales. The more she read, the broader her horizon’s got, and she began to see things more clearly. She realized a few fishy things about her parents. Her parents were normal employees with regular jobs, but she always noticed her parents having a knack for gambling and bargains. When she questioned them about it, they simply replied stating that "old habits die hard”. One late afternoon after shopping with her parents, she over heard her mother weeping about how some men found out of their existence. Yuuki was curious to know what had happened, and she was told to ignore it and go to sleep as if nothing had happened. It wasn't too long after when she witnessed something she would never forget. By the age of fifteen, Yuuki was still an amateur at bending. She overheard an argument her mother was having with a stranger, and the argument broke out into a duel. Yuuki, for the first time, witnessed her mother’s first waterbending battle. The situation was discombobulating, but her mother’s prowess and finesse in waterbending amazed her more than anything. She begged for her mother to teach her waterbending, but her mother never gave her a definite answer. The older she got, the worse things got for her and her parents; from random fights to nearly getting kidnapped. It wasn't too long until her farther started breaking out into fights as well, revealing his mastery in martial arts and weaponry. They constantly had to move, and It was frightening to be so oblivious to something that threatened her life. The more Yuuki demanded for answers, the more she was shunned away. One late night, Yuuki snuck out of the house after getting into an argument with her parents. Naively, she ran into a boy, who lured her away from home. But when upon returning home, her home was burning to the ground. Her father, on both knees, sat in front of the house. He was relieved to see that Yuuki was still alive. When Yuuki asked about her mother, his only reply was a face full of tears and distraught. That night, Yuuki’s life long question had finally been answered. Yuuki’s father revealed that both he and Yuuki’s mother were a pair of thieves and bounty hunters who fell in love. Love was never an option, and to escape their lifestyle, they moved to the Earth Republic to start a new life and family. That's when she learned that the boy who led her out the house was apart of the plot. Yuuki knew nothing could’ve been done, but she believed that things would’ve ended completely different if she just knew the truth. She lived in fear that her father would be killed too, but it was evident that since her mother was out of the picture, there were no more threats. By the age of seventeen, Yuuki decided that it would be best to move to Republic City. She believed that her father was more than capable of defending himself and left, hoping to become an author and learn waterbending to fend for herself if she were ever a target. However, she constantly wonders, if given the chance, would she avenge her mother's killer?
Powers Water Tribesman Initial Powers Water Whip The user can create a whip of water to quickly strike at something. Water Jet The user can create a jet of water that can be used to push back or even topple others. Water Wave The user can create a small wave from a nearby source of water that can be used to crash down on something. Temperature Control (Passive) The user can alter the temperature of water, allowing them to cause it to boil or even freeze. Pressure Control (Passive) The user can alter the pressure of water, allowing them to use it to grab or strike things. Basic Powers (Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed.) Water Knife The user can create a pressurized blade of water that can be used as a melee weapon. While wielding these blades, the user cannot use any other waterbending techniques from their hands. (Achieved after 1 week) Water Cloak The user can surround their arms in watery tentacles from a small source of water that can be used offensively or defensively. (Achieved after 2 weeks) Flood Sender (Achieved after 1 month) Initial Powers Maelstrom The user can create a whirlpool which pools all within its reach inwards. Requires a body of water. Waterspout The user can create a spout of water which can be used to lift them or others up off the ground. Requires a body of water. Condensation (Passive; Exclusive to Flood Sender) The user is able to condensate water from the air, giving them a access to a body of water anywhere. Jet Cutter (Exclusive to Flood Sender) The user fires a high pressure jet of water, while thinner than other waterbending techniques, the stream is strong enough to cut through weaker armour plating and even people. The technique's power drastically drops at longer ranges, making it only effective in close quarters. Advanced Powers (Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed. Also, Master level powers can only be achieved after 7 months and require 2 open power slots.) Cloudbending (Passive) The user is able to manipulate water vapor in order to move or create clouds which can be used to obscure sight. (Achieved after 2 months) Octopus Form The user can surround their body in a pressurized suit of water from a large body of water which has eight arms for offense or defense.
