Contained in a metal dome with a glass skylight would be the Blazing Arena, warm temperatures are spread throughout the dome by two everlasting streams of fire. The heat warms up the metal walls and floor after some time, so caution and protective footwear are definitely recommended. Prolonged exposure can lead to early symptoms of heat exhaustion. The water vents are typically boiling and the earth disks can absorb the heat as well. It is forbidden for any participant to attempt to break the skylight in any way. Many pipes throughout the arena consistently blast out powerful streams of hot steam, burning skin on contact. Small metal pillars often push out of the ground, threatening to trip up probenders onto the hot metal ground.
Note: Please do not forget the trap roll every 2 posts that determines whether your character is harmed by one of the two traps. Regular outcome rolls must still be made every post. If you roll an odd number your character will be affected by a trap, they will not if the number rolled is even.
With these rooms, dice rolls can be performed by participants. Be warned that these rooms contain logs, cheat and I will know. Simply put #d5 and you'll perform a roll. Links can be found in the comments section.
The coin toss was shown in favor of Isumatar/Wind. He may take the first post or pass it off to Sauri/Wing in the area below.
Sauri: Sauri walked into the arena, glancing around and mentally taking note of his new environment. He pushed his glasses back onto his nose, making sure they wouldn't fall off during the match.
"Well now, let's begin shall we?"
Sauri wound his arm back, drawing water from the boiling pools around him into a sphere within his palm. He leapt forwards, extending it into a water whip and flung it at Isumatar.
Result: 4, Block; the target blocks the attack
Isumatar:With a grunt of pain as he does so, Isu quickly plunges both arms into a nearby pool and manipulates the scalding water into a pair of water cloaks that envelope each upper limb. Emerging from the pool just in time to see Sauri's liquid lash surging toward him, Isu punches forward with his left arm and uses the afforded extension of the tentacle to deflect the attack and send it careening harmlessly to the side. Not bothering to devise a separate means to counterattack, he allows his surging tentacle to continue its momentum as it makes its way malignantly toward Sauri's face.
Result: 5, Redirection
Sauri: Sauri simply raised an arm, catching the water from into his hand and throwing it forwards into his own water whip.
"Oh come now, this is all you had? That's just so lacking." he replied, as he bent the whip into a coiled for and sent it curving around the side, hoping to strike Isumatar in the side rather than head on. At the same time he broke into a run in the opposite direction, hoping that staying in motion would better his chances of evasion as he easily leapt over the trip panels.
Result: 5, Redirection
Trap Roll: 4, Safe
Since it's the final day and Wing is the last poster I have to give him the win. There simply aren't enough posts to judge this.
