History Siku’s father Taqukaq was the chief of what was left of the Southern Water Tribe and was also the one who gave the fateful order to ravage his own home as a last ditch effort to drive off the spirits. A reasonably friendly man for most of his life, the self-ordered destruction of everything he held dear left him bitter and broken. He constantly belittled and abused Siku and his life became perfection or nothing. Groomed from an early age to one day replace his father, Siku’s ascension came earlier than anticipated when his father left the South Pole in the dead of night and never returned. For most of his people, pillaging was a forced hardship that they were only doing to survive. While Siku felt the same way during his early days as chief, he soon began to relish it and with each battle he survived he became more and more ruthless. Before long the targets became more and more ambitious and his people were no longer simply pillaging for need. One day, while rounding up the survivors of a raid on an earth kingdom village, Siku observed a figure escaping into the forest. Without hesitation, he shot an ice spike toward it and struck it down. Upon reaching the fallen figure, he realized with horror that it was a small child. But this horror soon melted away into a disgusting lust and need for more innocent blood being spilled. This animalistic behaviour was well concealed with a charming personality that Ahnah, a young tailor of his tribe grew attached and infatuated with. Siku quite liked the way she looked up to him and took her as a lover. Not long after, she was pregnant with his child in her swollen belly. Ahnah spent cold nights wrapped in a cherished pelt of Siku’s, a sign of his compassion and love for her. Her first pregnancy was to a little white haired boy with a calm personality. He was to be the next heir to Siku’s invisible throne but died six years before Ahnah gave birth again. He was mercilessly killed by Malachi, a man who was skilled in the ambitious way. However, Kiviuq was a handsome and charming young man when he was living. He often found himself taking care of his mother and the elders of the villages. All his compassion was put forth in the village. He was always helping out with small tasks and making new friends everywhere he went. Siku was proud to call him a son and even prouder that he was an amazing little warrior. He had the natural skilled that came with inheritance. However, like his father, he stood out in a crowd like his father before him. People had begun to fear the boy as he grew more ambitious with each day of training. He was still young when he perished. The whole village clings to the memory of a small white haired boy with a kind soul. Her next pregnancy was harder than the first but she eventually gave birth nine months and twenty five days later to a beautiful white-haired girl they named together. Salasartok was to one day be a warrior feared by many, despite being a girl. This is why her name meant to be victorious. Siku was only slightly disappointed that Ahnah had not given him another son but accepted his daughter who had a tendency to clench his finger tightly in her tiny hand whenever he put it near her. He loved her dearly. He used to joke about her being a force not to reckon with when her face turned red with anger about anything. As she grew, Siku found himself often away from home. He was used to raiding ships and villages by now and easily murdering those who stood in his way. His thirst for blood grew over the years, causing trouble with other villages and crafting hatred for his family. One freezing night in the wastelands, Siku’s life as he knew it completely changed. Salasartok was five years old when they came in the evening. They murdered Ahnah in cold blood and stole Salasartok and were off into the night before anyone even noticed. It was a family friend, Akiak who discovered Ahnah’s body and sent out three men to retrieve Siku. Siku was furious and wanted every last person involved in this crime to perish. He spent most of his time seeking out whoever had done this to his innocent family. He swore to never rest until he found the people who murdered his wife and kidnapped his little daughter. For years, Siku had no idea what they did to his little girl. He didn’t know if she was dead or alive. The men who took her were a gang of criminals who were cast from their villages. These outcasts banded together. The leader of this gang was a young boy when he watched his father get murdered by Siku during a raid of his village. For this, he was forever full of hate towards the man. He convinced his “followers” to help him make Siku suffer. However, recently after they murdered Ahnah and kidnapped Sala, this man was overthrown for acting too corrupt when he tried to feed Sala to a rabid animal.. A gruff old man took his position - a man who had a way with his words. He raised Sala as if she were his very own, leading her on to believe that Siku, her former father had sold her to them and that he was corrupt and wrong and full of hate that she was ever born. He fed her these lies for years and years. Iluq saw no reason to kill this child for the mistakes her father made. Instead, he figured he would train her to fight and raid ships for him. She was to do all this tribe’s dirty work. She took to it as easy as her father before her took to killing with amusement. She was good at what she did, but she was taught to never venture too far out of boundaries without the aid of the members of her tribe in case they ever tried to take her back. On days that Siku was close to finding the tribe, Sala easily took down his men who threatened to wipe them out. She helped her tribe for years to escape her childhood tribe but never really questioned why they were so intent on capturing them. One time she even came face-to-face with Siku whilst he embedded an axe into Iluq’s skull. She knew from that moment who he was. However, he didn’t notice who she was. He simply thought of her as another female tribe member that he had to kill. Every time Siku’s tribe invaded, they escaped and found a new place to settle for a year or so. Each time, he found them. After a new leader was appointed, Sala began to think that the rule Iluq installed was no longer to be bothered with. She was twenty two when she ventured away from their territory and into the deeper parts of the wastelands for hunting purposes. She was foolish to go alone. Akiak was the man who found her mangled mother’s body and he was the first to find her years later. Thinking she was a member from another tribe invading territory for hunting purposes, he captured her and took her back to Siku to be interrogated. Salasartok was disgusted with the fact that she had walked herself into Siku’s territory unknowingly. She refused to speak as he demanded her for her name and what tribe she belonged to. She turned her head away when he asked her why she was on their territory. Days went by and she still refused to speak until she cracked one day. She viciously declared that she was Salasartok and spit on his shoes. Filled with shock, Siku just stood there. He knew she was currently probably in her early twenties and did the math. His daughter would have been the same age. She had the same white hair and fiery spirit that he had. She had Ahnah’s eyes. It all made sense. She hated her father with every fragment of her being. She demanded she wanted to be released so that she may go back to her people. He was angered by this and unnerved by her disloyalty to him. He screamed at her while she was helplessly in shackles. He ranted about how they killed her mother and took her from him. How he spent years searching for her with no avail. She refused to listen to this. She hated him. He was growing more furious by the second that she would not believe him and went to where Akiak said he found her. Him and his men tracked down the tribe and killed everyone but the leader. He returned with him and threw him down in front of Sala. Siku demanded of the man to confess the crimes of another so many years ago. The new leader spoke no words and was quickly beheaded. Salasarktok would never forgive her father for killing her people and leaving her to stay with his tribe. The first year she lived in the tribe was very hard on the young warrior. Her father tried anything to gain back her loyalty and respect. He showered her in gifts and good food. He spoiled her with new clothing and armour and weapons. She refused all his gifts. The people of the tribe would turn their noses up at her for ever betraying them. Akiak was saddened to see that Siku was desperate for the affection of his only daughter. He begun to work with her. He spent time with Sala and tried to tell her stories of when she was little and show her toys and baby stuff she once used. Tenshi and Siku met on a raid when Tenshi smuggled himself and two others onto the ship. Siku had seen how the strange man fought and couldn't help but break out into laughter. Tenshi was a skilled fighter. He was impressed by the younger man. Since Tenshi was simply seeking refuge, Siku invited him back to their village for shelter, never asking him what he was hiding from. He valued privacy and understood. The other two occupants were offered refuge as well. Tenshi arrived not long after his daughter was captured and Sala knew nothing of this strange man and the two company he brought nor did she care. But her father got well acquainted to him. Later it was discovered that Siku’s son was the man who led the wastelanders onto the ship many years ago. Siku was at ease when he discovered that Tenshi had killed the man who slew him. Slowly and surely in the second year of Salasartok living there, she begun to trust Akiak and only him. To distract her from her father and her anger towards him, she was ordered to help them raid ships. She was used to this. Her life almost felt normal again. Although she did not have the respect for and from her people and she now had an annoying father who tried everything to get her to notice his existence. Akiak was impressed with how well she was at raiding and fighting. He reported everything back to Siku, who was most impressed and occasionally boasted to Tenshi about her. Salasartok met this man a few times and spoke rarely to him. When Tenshi told Siku that he was ready to leave, Siku thought it would be a wonderful opportunity for him and his daughter to work together and possibly bond. He offered to go along with Tenshi and not long after, Salasartok reluctantly agreed after being pushed by Akiak. She said goodbye to the only person of the tribe she liked and trusted and went along with them to Republic City, alongside Sikuapak, Tenshi and the other two company.
Powers Fire Infantry Initial Powers Fire Arcs The user's punches and kicks will automatically create small arcs of fire from them as they strike that spills forward in the direction of the attack. Fireball The user is able to shoot small blasts of fire in rapid succession toward something. Fire Whip The user is able to create a belt of flames which they can use to strike and burn with. Heat Control (Passive) The user is able to increase the heat of the air, objects and liquids. Fire Blocking (Passive) The user is able to, if timed correctly, break away or deflect other fire attacks. Basic Powers (Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed.) Fire Disks The user is able to create small disks that can be used as quick moving projectiles. (Achieved after 1 week) Jet Propulsion (Passive) The user is able to create intense bursts of flames from their hands and feet which can be used to propel them through the air for a short time. (Achieved after 2 weeks) Fire Sage (Achieved after 1 month) Initial Powers Fire Blades The user is able to create thin blades of fire from their melee attacks which are capable of cutting objects as well as burn them. While performing this technique, the user cannot use any other form of firebending techniques. Shield of Fire The user is able to create a small wall of flames which can block attacks as well as burn objects. Some sharp or dense objects cannot be blocked by these flames. Fire Breath (Exclusive to Fire Sage) The user is able to create powerful torrents of flames from their mouth by simply igniting their breath. They are also able to maintain the torrent for as long as they can breathe outward. The torrent can only be used from close to mid range, but serves as a rather wide blast. Coming from deep within the body, these flames are also much hotter than normal flames and are nearly inextinguishable. This is said to be very similar to a dragon when it is breathing fire. Flame Vortex (Exclusive to Fire Sage) The user launches a fiery burst that spirals in a cone shape in the direction it's launched. The burst is rather narrow but can reach up to long distances. Advanced Powers (Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed. Also, Master level powers can only be achieved after 7 months and require 2 open power slots.) Pressure Control (Passive) The user is able to pressurize their flames in order to make them semi-dense and have a sort of tangible force when they strike something.  (Achieved after 2 months) Combustion (Passive; requires 2 open slots) The user is able to send a burst of thermal energy in a general direction. At any point during its motion, the user may ignite it via the trail left behind in its wake. If it is not ignited, nothing will happen, therefor the user may disengage the use of this power at any time. This power requires a high level of focus while using it and forces the user to remain standing until detonation occurs. It is also possible for someone else to ignite the thermal energy trail left in the wake and send it rippling back toward the user. NOTE: This power is illegal to use. (Achieved after 7 months)
