Rin -Airbender

U-uhm...hi...? *She blushes and looks away, trying to focus on something else.*


Rin is a quiet, kind of timid airbender girl who is very curious of the world. She is often calm and collected when battling and is very quick and agile. She relies on quick attacks and has the evasion tactic applied everytime she battles with someone. She dreams of becoming a wind fighter.


Rin was born on the Western Air Temple and was raised there by female monks. She was considered an airbending prodigy as a kid because of her great talent in the said bending art, being able to quickly learn techniques and execute them properly. She had lots of friends and is very helpful, doing chores and stuff to help the monks/sisters.

After she turned 15, some of her friends asked her if she wanted to come with them to Air Temple Island and continue their training there. Being curious about the world and being a traveler at heart, she quickly agrees and joins them, after getting approval from the monks of course.

They rode on a flying bison and arrived at Air Temple Island in just a few hours. They continued training there, with different dreams in mind. For Rin, it was to become a Wind Fighter.

She currently resides at the Female Dormitories on Air Temple Island, Yue Bay.

Initial Powers
  • Air Blast

The user sends a burst of air out in the shape of a ball in front of them which can be used offensively or defensively.

  • Air Shield

The user creates a funnel of air in front of them that redirects attacks around them.

  • Air Swipe

The user sends a sharp jet of air out in the shape of a crescent which can be used to cut things.

  • Enhanced Agility (Passive)

The user is naturally more agile than a normal human.

  • Gliding (Passive)

The user can glide across the air for a short period of time; this can be sustained for a medium amount of time by using a glider.

Basic Powers

(Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed.)

  • Air Strike

The user can attach a burst of wind to any physical attack with their arms or legs for added force. (Achieved after 1 week)

  • Air Scooter

The user can create a ball of air which can be rode for an extended period of time and is much faster and agile than if they were walking or running (25-30 mph), however, they have a hard time using other bending powers while riding the scooter. (Achieved after 2 weeks)

Initial Powers
  • Air Wake

The user can build up massive momentum while running which can then be focused into a powerful concussive blast. The user becomes disoriented for a short time after using this power.

  • Enhanced Speed (Passive)

The user is able to redirect air flow around them, removing air resistance and generating a wind current behind them, thus greatly increasing their running speed. (50-60 mph). The user cannot use the power to enhance the speed of their flight/gliding or jumping and they're vulnerable to fatigue and high-speed collision while running at these new speeds.

  • Air Blades (Exclusive to Wind Fighter)

The user can focus the air to a fine blade which can be used as a melee or projectile weapon for a short time. While wielding these blades, the user cannot use any other airbending techniques from their hands.

  • Air Slam (Exclusive to Wind Fighter)

The user can produce a gust of air to launch enemies upwards, followed by a downwards air current to slam them into the ground with increased force. The user becomes disoriented for a short time after using this power and they cannot use it from long distances.

Advanced Powers

(Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed. Also, Master level powers can only be achieved after 7 months and require 2 open power slots.)
