Kiken is highly unstable and violent, he delights in senseless and wanton violence. Kiken’s favourite passtime is torturing people, generally young women and children. He approaches sex as something more akin to dessert after a large meal, he enjoys it but he doesn’t really care about it or the person he is with at the time.

Kiken does however have a sense of humor and irony despite his instabilities, the very name he calls himself is evidence of this (Kiken is an english pronunciation of dangerous or hazardous in Japanese). Kiken is quite quick witted but he behaves like a fool most of the time so he can capture his enemies or just anyone he wants to kill that much easier.

Lust and wrathful are the two words that best describe Kiken, his lust is not for sex and the like but for death and bloodshed and when he is angered or beaten in a fight he becomes obsessed with naught but the utter destruction of the subject of his ire.

Tseten was born to an Air Nomad couple who lived in the Eastern Air Temple. He grew up among great philosophers and peacekeepers. Tseten was taught the lessons and ways of the Air Nomads from the time he could crawl and as such Tseten was an incredibly mature boy for his age, those around him often commented on his exemplary behaviour and manners. If only they knew.

Tseten noticed he had something broken inside of him when he was 4 ‘Why do I not like the other kids? Why don’t I care about whether I like them or not? Why is everyone else around me so stupid? I could kill them with words if I wanted to… That seems fun. Let’s do that huh?’. It was these 4 simple thoughts that began Tseten along the path of insanity.

As Tseten grew so did his lack of empathy for the rest of the world. They were just playthings to be used up and discarded after they got boring. One day when he was 7 he found a baby sky bison at the bottom of the mountain the Temple was located on, it had been injured and it needed help or it would not survive the winter. Tseten helped it and as it healed he began to learn from it, only the most basic of airbending of course but still it was helpful. Just as the young bison was healthy enough to leave the cave Tseten had housed it in a rock slid in front of the entrance. Tseten laughed slightly as he heard the bison wail for his friend to save him. Everyday for a fortnight Tseten came down to the cave entrance and meditated to the sounds of a starving sky bison, it was the happiest fortnight he ever lived. As the cries finally died away Tseten reported the ‘cave in’ to some Air Nomad elders and they had the stone removed and they discovered the baby bison just barely hanging on to life, the poor thing would have died no matter what they did and so by the hand of Tseten’s father the beast was put down...

After that incident Tseten began to work on making his parents lives miserable. He thought up new ways to torment them almost daily. Throught all of his torments there was a consistent formula of constantly making his parents feel guilty about the ‘incident’ coupled with an obstinate refusal to comply with their wishes or demands. It was during his 14th year that his efforts finally bore fruit, his father a man of great spiritual enlightenment committed suicide. It was then that his mother finally stood up to her deranged son and in doing so she incurred his anger. Tseten murdered his mother in public, right before the eyes of the elder of the temple.

Tseten spent the next 4 years of his life moving around to various institutions and it was in these places that his insanity began to deepen even further, he killed several guards during his stead in the last care facility he had resided in. Such a feat impressed even himself as he had done it by biting the throats of his victims out. It was after this that Tseten named himself Kiken, his old life was dead and as such he had to get rid of everything that he saw as an attachment to it, which at the time was only his name.

Tseten is now due to arrive in Republic City for transfer to the Republic City Institution for the Criminally Insane (RCICI) and as such extra precautions must been taken to ensure the safety of both guards and doctors alike.

Tseten is a dangerous individual and as such he needs to be put into intensive care, preferably the isolation wards if at all possible.

Initial Powers
  • Air Blast

The user sends a burst of air out in the shape of a ball in front of them which can be used offensively or defensively.

  • Air Shield

The user creates a funnel of air in front of them that redirects attacks around them.

  • Air Swipe

The user sends a sharp jet of air out in the shape of a crescent which can be used to cut things.

  • Enhanced Agility (Passive)

The user is naturally more agile than a normal human.

  • Gliding (Passive)

The user can glide across the air for a short period of time; this can be sustained for a medium amount of time by using a glider.

  • Air Strike

The user can attach a burst of wind to any physical attack with their arms or legs for added force. (Achieved after 1 week)

  • Air Funnel

The user can create a funnel of air which is used to redirect objects. (Achieved after 2 weeks)

  • Air Wake

The user can build up massive momentum while running which can then be focused into a powerful concussive blast. The user becomes disoriented for a short time after using this power.

  • Enhanced Speed (Passive)

The user is able to redirect air flow around them, removing air resistance and generating a wind current behind them, thus greatly increasing their running speed. (50-60 mph). The user cannot use the power to enhance the speed of their flight/gliding or jumping and they're vulnerable to fatigue and high-speed collision while running at these new speeds.

  • Air Blades (Exclusive to Wind Fighter)

The user can focus the air to a fine blade which can be used as a melee or projectile weapon for a short time. While wielding these blades, the user cannot use any other airbending techniques from their hands.

  • Air Slam (Exclusive to Wind Fighter)

The user can produce a gust of air to launch enemies upwards, followed by a downwards air current to slam them into the ground with increased force. The user becomes disoriented for a short time after using this power and they cannot use it from long distances.

Advanced Powers

(Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed. Also, Master level powers can only be achieved after 7 months and require 2 open power slots.)

  • Enhanced Jumping (Passive)

The user is able to use gusts of air to jump about three times the height of a normal human (about 8-10 feet). (Achieved after 2 months)

  • True Flight (Passive; requires 2 open slots)

The user is able to sustain controlled flight with seemingly no limits. While it has no direct offensive or defensive capabilities, the potential is nearly limitless; a glider is not required. They are faster than users of assisted flight, can fly completely quiet and can fly up to 60 miles per hour. (Achieved after 7 months)
