Kamal is well-built, sturdy looking fellow who stands at about 6'1 and weighs about 200 lbs. He's been called very attractive by many people, getting his sharp features from his mother, but he gets his deep blue eyes from his father. His body shape and posture always radiates a confident aura, never once lowering it.


Kamal is the figurative reincarnation of a gentleman of the late 50’s. He is a well-mannered individual who knows to respect others equally and speak appropriately at all times. He’s very confident in himself and sometimes others, no matter what the situation is. Kamal can also be quite charming, always seeming to know the right words to say to a woman of class. His charisma and charm seemingly knows no bounds, but he also respects all women and would never treat them any lower. An honorable young man, Kamal is a person of his word. He follows through with any commitment until the very end and doesn’t know the meaning of “backing down”. He also has developed a sense of style, with knowledge on dressing for any occasion and presenting himself in the best way possible.


Born to Ren and Kino, a traveling music duo, Kamal was introduced to the world of music at a very young age. Ren was an Airbender and Kino was a nonbending Fire Native, but both shared a common interest in the musical arts, which brought them together as performing act, and as a loving couple. Much like his parents, Kamal developed a deep love for the musical arts and dreamed to share his love with the rest of the world. At the age of eight, Kamal was taught his first instrument, the flute, right when his bending abilities manifested. Not only was he a fast learner, he started to advancing to learning more challenging music to play. It wasn’t long before the musical duo became a trio.

As Kamal grew older, he began to try out more instruments that better suit his taste. His talents ranged from the Tsugi horn, the Erhu, the Veena, and many more. All of which Kamal got the hang of with little trouble. He and his parents were praised for their exemplary performance by many, but the gist of their praise went towards Kamal. Such talented youth was something people people adored.

As time went by, Ren and Kino retired from their music career to leave Kamal to strike out on his own. He had grew up to be quite the stunning young man and he had always wanted to share his love of music with the world. He then heard of the Citizen Project created by Republic City as means to allow people from other nations to travel to their land. Knowing of the opportunities the city offers, Kamal figured no better place to make a name for himself than Republic City.

The user sends a burst of air out in the shape of a ball in front of them which can be used offensively or defensively.

The user creates a funnel of air in front of them that redirects attacks around them.

  • Air Swipe

The user sends a sharp jet of air out in the shape of a crescent which can be used to cut things.

  • Enhanced Agility (Passive)

The user is naturally more agile than a normal human.

  • Gliding (Passive)

The user can glide across the air for a short period of time; this can be sustained for a medium amount of time by using a glider.

The user can attach a burst of wind to any physical attack with their arms or legs for added force. (Achieved after 1 week)

  • Air Funnel

The user can create a funnel of air which is used to redirect objects. (Achieved after 2 weeks)

  • Air Wake

The user can build up massive momentum while running which can then be focused into a powerful concussive blast. The user becomes disoriented for a short time after using this power.

  • Enhanced Speed (Passive)

The user is able to redirect air flow around them, removing air resistance and generating a wind current behind them, thus greatly increasing their running speed. (50-60 mph). The user cannot use the power to enhance the speed of their flight/gliding or jumping and they're vulnerable to fatigue and high-speed collision while running at these new speeds.

  • Air Blades (Exclusive to Wind Fighter)

The user can focus the air to a fine blade which can be used as a melee or projectile weapon for a short time. While wielding these blades, the user cannot use any other airbending techniques from their hands.

  • Air Slam (Exclusive to Wind Fighter)

The user can produce a gust of air to launch enemies upwards, followed by a downwards air current to slam them into the ground with increased force. The user becomes disoriented for a short time after using this power and they cannot use it from long distances.
