Hinoken tends to dress very sharply and holds himself with pride. He has pale hair and skin and is fairly tall, standing at 6'1". He has his katana on him at nearly all times.
He has become ruthless angered and troubled. It is hard for him to control himself and his bending.
Hinoken was born into the powerful and corrupt Hitochi family of the Fire Nation. As the Hitochi family is matriarchal in nature it was his sister that would inherit the family's wealth and power. At a young age Hinoken was given the finest education and witnessed his family's travesties first hand, giving an unusual insight into the world.
When Hinoken was 7 he firebended a burst of flame when mimicking the movements his father was using for the Hitochi Family Firebending Forms. His father was ecstatic and began to train his son in the use of firebending. Hinoken also took an interest in swordplay as a child after handling his father's katana. And conviced his father to hire an instructor for this purpose. As Hinoken grew older and his penchant for kindness grew his parents took steps to hide their more illegal activities from him in case he became a traitor.
When Hinoken was 17 he became a part of the of the local police forces, despite his parents' protest. And when he was 23 he heard of his mother's death and of many investigations into the family had uncovered many of the dark secrets the Hitochi family had been hiding. In order to prove his allegiance to justice, he told the police what he knew and helped with the arrests. Afterwords the rest of the family began sending assassins after him, though he could not prove it was the Hitochi family who orchestrated the two assassination attempts he knew they would not stop. So Hinoken decided to leave the fire nation to go to Republic City in an attempt to redeem his self and his family name.
The user's punches and kicks will automatically create small arcs of fire from them as they strike that spills forward in the direction of the attack.
The user is able to shoot small blasts of fire in rapid succession toward something.
The user is able to create a belt of flames which they can use to strike and burn with.
The user is able to increase the heat of the air, objects and liquids.
The user is able to, if timed correctly, break away or deflect other fire attacks.
(Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed.)
The user is able to create intense bursts of flames from their hands and feet which can be used to propel them through the air for a short time. (Achieved after 1 week)
The user is able to disperse their flames and increase their size temporarily; however, the overall heat of the flame is weakened. (Achieved after 2 weeks)
Ember Sentinel(Achieved after 1 month)
The user sends forth a massive fireball which explodes into a torrent of flames upon contact. The user must take time to build up this attack and is vulnerable while doing so.
The user is able to immolate something in a thin film of concentrated flames. Due to the concentration, the flames are highly resistant to being extinguished but also cannot be bent away from where they are once they are applied unless they are removed entirely.
The user is able to envelope an area in a massive wall of dense flames in order to block attacks or obstruct a path. The user is unable to move while controlling these flames, however, they can redirect this wall willingly while controlling it.
The user can project a wide flame attack around them which can knock nearby enemies over.
(Note: Once a power is chosen, it cannot be changed. Also, Master level powers can only be achieved after 7 months and require 2 open power slots.)
The user is able to create thin blades of fire from their melee attacks which are capable of cutting objects as well as burn them. While performing this technique, the user cannot use any other form of firebending techniques. (Achieved after 2 months)
The user is able to send a burst of thermal energy in a general direction. At any point during its motion, the user may ignite it via the trail left behind in its wake. If it is not ignited, nothing will happen, therefor the user may disengage the use of this power at any time. This power requires a high level of focus while using it and forces the user to remain standing until detonation occurs. It is also possible for someone else to ignite the thermal energy trail left in the wake and send it rippling back toward the user. NOTE: This power is illegal to use. (Achieved after 7 months)
