This Earthbender belongs to Lance

Gosuki has messy blonde hair and turquoise eyes, he has a tattoo on his right upper arm of a dark flame and normally wears a dark green sleeveless vest with black pats and brown combat boots and he always wears a pair of fingerless black leather gloves.

Gosuki was born in a farming village near the city of Omashu where he grew up with his mother and father alongside his five younger siblings, three little sisters and two little brothers. His father was a hard working man always doing his best out in the fields and his mother worked as a seamstress leaving Gosuki home to look after his younger siblings. Gosuki always tried to support his family no matter what, constantly helping around the house while looking after his brothers and sisters, his healthy work ethic allowed him to mature quickly.

A few weeks after his eighth birthday Gosuki accidentally tore open a small fissure in the ground revealing his gift of earth bending. Gosuki was amazed by his ability and worked hard to strengthen it while occasionally showing it of to his younger siblings. On one of the few days Gosuki had time to himself he took an evening stroll through the woods near his village when a figure came crashing into him. After the collision Gosuki realized that it was a boy with dark blue hair that bumped into him. Before Gosuki could reprimand the other boy he saw the reason for his reckless sprinting, the foliage from which the boy emerged rustled as a gangly dog like creature with a strange armor-like padding covering its back and sides stalked forward its fangs bared in a show of ferocity with drool dripping from its muzzle.

Gosuki's eyes widened as he recognized the beast before him, it was an armadillo wolf and judging by the look in its red eyes it was hungry. Acting quickly Gosuki placed himself between the beast and the younger boy taking up a basic earth bending stance he had practised. The wolf let loose a viscous growl before lunging forward saliva flying from its opened jaws. Reflexes kicking in, Gosuki moved forward stomping his left foot onto the ground detaching a sizeable rock from the earth before hurling it forward with a swift right hook. The rock struck the side of the wolfs skull with a sickening crack forcing it to stumble back with a pained whimper. The beast snarled angrily at Gosuki but instead of backing down he took a step forward, this time planting his right foot firmly on the ground sending a small tremor rippling through the earth, startled by the sudden vibrations and not willing to risk another rock to the face the wolf gave an irritated bark before running off. Releasing a sigh of relief Gosuki turned around only to find the blue haired boy gone, worried Gosuki tried to call out for him but halted at the sound of a distant howl. Gosuki shivered, not wanting to test his luck with a pack of predators he headed for his village quickly to get help.

Arriving at his village Gosuki noticed a small crowd that had gathered, upon approaching it Gosuki noticed a man and woman with tears coming from their eyes clinging to a blue haired child. Gosuki realized it was the boy from the woods and apparently the boy noticed him as well as he suddenly pried himself from his parents grasp and began showering him with thanks and praises. It wasn't long before the blue haired boy caught the attention of the people in the small crowd and began telling a tale of how Gosuki "smited" a "giant monster ". Gosuki was fine with accepting thank you's but being surrounded by all this praise was making him slightly bashful. He was soon knocked from his stupor by a steady pat on his back, turning around Gosuki found his father standing over him with prideful look on his face and was barely able to glance at his mother before she wrapped him in a tight hug.

His parents called him a hero but all he did was help someone in need at least that's what he thought. He heard of a place far from Omashu, Republic city it was called. Apparently there was a task force of people that used there skills to keep the peace. Though it was a bit of a pipe dream Gosuki wondered what he could contribute to society if he became like them.

Gosuki is a kind-hearted young man and an all around busy body. He is always eager to help if ever needed and though he is soft spoken he is not afraid to lay down the law and takes his duties and responsibilities very seriously. Though he carries a sword he mainly uses it to swiftly defeat enemies that come to close for comfort otherwise he uses his earth bending. He wishes to make a difference by upholding justice and protecting those who can't protect themselves.
