When he died, a year ago, I was shaken and spent a year wandering around my nation, training my firebending, until I heard about people coming to Republic City, I decided it was time to live a new journey, I came here with a goal, I become a probender and make Tyro proud, but i’m open to the posibilities.Hope it is enough
Hello there! I love the main page (front page) of your wiki, and how it is displayed in the box. I was wondering, since I am not able to edit it, if there is a template? When viewing the source, I don’t see any, but I wanted to know if it is a template or not.

History: Ren was born into the water nation from his mother Ai a fire bender and Kalik a water bender. When Ren was born he couldn’t bend fire or water, instead Ren enjoyed running around in the snow. In the snow Thomas would kill small animals to entertain himself as he constantly felt an urge to hurt things.
At the age of 12 Thomas was caught killing a small animal by his father and was being scolded by his parents, suddenly out of anger he shot out a pebble from the ground and ran away. While running away he found a crashed plane which he managed to fix and was paid 30 gold coins. Ren then went home to his home deciding he wanted to move to republic city at the age of 16 to build cars.
Until he turned 16 Ren practiced his earthbending. Ren and his family had a void with each other until Ren’s dad gave him some republic clothes and jacket with a lava pattern on it. Thomas then started to make up with his parents and building machines to satisfy his urges. At the age of 15 Thomas entered a fighting tournament in which he placed 9th out of 20 participants, because him being outmatched by his opponent physically. Making him have a desire to learn martial arts.
Jang has sparkling, slanted brown eyes, with olive skin, a pointed jaw, ruffled, messy black hair. He’s fairly tall, with a slim, muscleless build that he hides beneath a black uniform (consisting of a long-sleeved shirt, baggy pants and tall boots) and a leaf-green cloak over it, that is buttoned up at the neck.
Scars dot and blemish his body, with the most visible one being a deep cut that runs down the length of his abdomen, which broke two ribs inside his chest and weakened his sternum, making his chest the most vulnerable area, which he tries to protect with self-added iron plates on the inside of his shirt, which heat up greatly in summer, making him seek shade often - a heavy downside.
History: Born and raised in the trading town Tongshu, by his father Lee, the village elder and blacksmith, and his mother Viv, a herbalist. Under their guidance, he learned the ins and outs of smithing thanks to his father, planning to be a smith when he grows up though both of them wished more for him, and quickly enrolled him into school at the age of 7. As neither of his parents were benders, it was thought that he wasn’t one either, and thus he never attempted to learn Earthbending. Though multiple times in his life he had bent earth but ignored it trying too bury it down as his parents were quite bendist, giving him a strange cognitive dissonance that forced him to pretend to be a non-bender. It wasnt untill adult-hood that he started to try bending on his own.
In school, he was picked on, and thanks to the hostile environment, struggled academically, to the point where he flat-out dropped school by the age of 14 and chose instead to completely take up smithing as a job once his father grew too old to do it properly, hoping too learn the ins and outs of swordsmanship, having the new wish in life to join the Town Guard and protect those he loved and cherished.
However, his wish quickly crumbled when the Black Foxes - one of the many raider clans of the region, struck the village by surprise on the day of his 16th birthday. Thanks to this fact, the raiders decided that, as a mocking present, he should be the one to live - whereas the rest of the population was massacred.
Plagued by the scars that he acquired in the process, and the guilt of being unable to save those he cared for the most, Jang’s next two years were spent wandering the vast lands of the Earth Kingdom, doing oddball jobs around other villages, as an effort to clean his conscience, to make up for his failure by helping others. Slowly, the seed of self-hatred was planted in his psyche, constantly reinforced by the self-imposed loneliness that came with all of his travel.
Finally, two years later, the world opens up to him, and he arrives in Republic City, where he hopes that, someday, he could clear his consciousness, and help himself forget of the stain that the raiders left on his mind.
During his time with them, his parents taught him what he sees as the foundation of society - kindness, hard work and dedication. Despite all of his occasional downfalls, he holds these three principles to heart, and treats everyone he meets with kindness, and treats all the jobs he is assigned with hard work and dedication.
However, events in his life have taken a toll on him, and the way he acts. Long periods of isolation thanks to his travelling have stripped him of any sort of social skills (not that he had many in the first place), leaving him awkwardly stammering and stuttering at any conversation. Guilt due to past events in his life caused a deep self-hatred, which, in turn, led to a complete lack or will for self-preservation. Frequently, he sees himself as less than others, and thus holds their wishes and requests to a higher priority than his own well-being in a search for redemption that will never come.
Despite this making him very easily used, he is not gullible, and experience acquired in his journeys has made him fairly smart. However, his bending skills are still far, far below average for a person his age.
Character Name:Anzai Ts'ai
Anzai is of average height and has an athletic build. The wears tiger skin clothes and has a winged band around his head which nobody knows why A black fleece jacket is worn that is usually closed at the bottom revealing the male's abs. His eyes are blue with a black spot in the center that turns into a cross or cross-hairs that runs to the edge of his blue irises.
Personality: Anzai is shown to be playful, honest and lighthearted young man that primarily seeks nothing more than a good fight. He is fairly kind and hospitable to strangers, and develops strong bonds of loyalty with his friends. Apparently he is weak against people he has lost to and becoming quite submissive. When angered, Anzai usually carries an expressionless face and will mercilessly beat the person responsible for his anger.
The people who have witnessed his fighting prowess acknowledge his strength and are terrified of ever engaging in battle with him. Despite the tough nature, Anzai was shown to easily tear down when someone mention his parents, thinking despite they're crooked ways they are good people deep down. The unwanted attention he gains from fire nations immigrants, do to his last name isn't enjoyed either. Anzai is also quite stubborn when it comes to following rules, usually going against them, but will follow them if its reasonable.
Before you learn about Anzai's family you must know about his roots. Anzai was born to Runa and Yakon Ts'ai, two politician and business entrepreneurs of the Fire Nation. The Ts'ai family was known for creating and designing a number of the new Naval ships the Fire Nation now uses. Yakon, Anzai's father, being a former soldier in the Navy, he knows his way around ships well. Another aspect of the family was their involvement with politics in the Fire nation. Runa Ts'ai, Anzai's mother, often advised the Fire Lord on diplomatic matters. Though the reason why the Ts'ai family was Notorious was their influence in underground crimes. The Ts'ai family would constantly employ groups in order to take out a rising gang, or individuals deal with a political or business opponent. Though to the population of the Fire Nation, their relation to crime is only a rumor. Nobody has ever been able to find evidence against them. Eventually Runa birthed Anzai and our story begins.
Anzai was born a healthy baby and matured just like any other baby. He was given a pristine education growing up and was quite obedient. Anzai could tell that his success in school brought his parents joy, something he would strive to do. The house the lived in was a grand manor on a hill. Going into public, alongside his parents, was Anzai’s most favorite thing to do. Everyone on the street gave the male compliments and always waved to him. Even when he met the Firelord for the first time, the ruler smiled at the boy. Another aspect that he enjoyed was traveling, Anzai had been all over the world. Using his father ships they traveled to all the air temples but the southern one, visited the earth kingdom numerous of times, and also briefly visited the Northern water tribe. Due to the danger, his parents never dared bring him to the Wasteland nor the southern air temple. Though through travels, Anzai grew cultured. Life was good.. emphasis on was.
At the age of 12, Anzai still hadn’t developed any signs of being able to bend. His parent’s desperately cling on to the slim chance that he was a late bloomer. Though they slowly came to realize that Anzai Ts'ai was born a non-bender. Despite being born from two prestigious firebenders, the male was nothing but a non-bender.Though instead of becoming devastated by this, Runa and Yakon used this as a opportunity to target their non-bender consumers and also non-bending citizens, and push their products onto them. This had a positive affect the family income in the long run. As for Anzai, the boy was soon going to be faced with adversity.
Immediately after determining that he was a non-bender, Anzai’s parents hired a the best martial art instructors in the Fire nation in order to teach him how to fight. By the time Anzai was 17, he was well versed in non-bending martial arts that included kicks, punches, grapples, etc. Anzai enjoyed learning martial arts as he felt like it was his own form of bending. Day in and day out, when not studying, the male was practicing his martial arts. His instructors became like second parents to him and he would respect them as so. His favorite was his primary instructor, named Ji-loo. Anzai and Ji-loo grew close and had a sibling bond. Ji-loo was like the older sister he never had. Though this would all change one night.
Ji-loo wanted to assess Anzai’s strength so she went ahead and challenged him to a spar. This took place in the basement of the Manor, which was often used for training purposes. The friendly spar of course was under way, and for some time that is all it was..a friendly spar. Though it took a drastic turn once Ji-loo had swept Anzai off his feet with a quick kick, causing him to fall straight on his but. Ji-loo’s feet then rose high, and her heel descended upon the temple of Anzai knocking him out.
Anzai woke up in a hospital bed with multiple wires connected to him. The male would attempt to sit up but couldn’t. His parents were at his bedside and told him to remain calm. They then told Anzai what had happened. Ji-loo was actually someone who held a grudge against the Ts'ai family, and used the opportunity of being Anzai’s instructor to get close to the Ts'ai. Anzai’s parents told him how they found him about to be killed when they wandered in. They quickly rushed in to save him, and after that killed Ji-loo on the spot. This was all too much for Anzai to handle at one time. The male simply closed his eyes and went back to sleep.
On Jakken’s 18th birthday he was given a one way ticket to Republic City. Despite protest from Anzai, his parents were adamant about him going. They were concerned for his safety and well being. So in the end, Anzai was sent off on a private ship, specially made by his father, to Republic City. Anzai grew to resent his parents, seeing him being sent away as a punishment. The male pulled into Republic Cities harbor one crisp morning. He proceeded off the boat, and into the city, and so his journey began.
Character Alignment: Chaotic Good
Parent Names: Runa and Yakon Ts'ai
Padma is a rather muscular woman with pale skin and hair. Like many modern Air Nomads, she is mixed from Fire Nation, Earth Kingdom, and Water Tribe descent. She often looks confident and carries herself with pride. Like many from the Southern Air Temple, she takes a much more liberal view on monkhood and has elected to keep her hair and have much more modern clothes than most monks.
Padma is strong, confident and loves a good fight, if it is justified. While she doesn’t believe in throwing the first blow, she will go looking for trouble to get into one. During her time in the Southern Air Temple, she learned that sometimes killing is necessary though it should still be avoided, and she would never kill an innocent. Like many firebenders, her strength comes from her passion.
Padma was born in the Eastern Air Temple to a airbending mother named Tashi and a nonbender father named Norbu. Her parents where calm peaceful monks content to spend their days in quiet contemplation…. Well Padma wasn’t about to let that happen. She was a demanding child, she had a hard time listening, and she wanted to do things her way. The Air Nomad’s teachings gradually helped temper her attitude as she grew into a child, but not nearly enough.
When Padma was seven years old, during some airbending drills she firebended a short spout of flame forwards. Firebending was definitely not unseen among the Air Nomads as they had so many ethnicities among them, but most of their best firebenders where in the Southern Air Temple to help protect against the Wastelanders. After being informed of that option, Padma was eager to go, but the monks had their doubts about it’s effects on her spiritual development and asked her to wait until she was older.
When Padma was thirteen, she started becoming more rebellious, often refusing to shave her head, skipping meditations, and trying to pick fights. Eventually the monks and her parents decided to allow her to move to the Southern Air Temple, and she couldn’t be more excited.
When Padma arrived at the Southern Air Temple, things seemed a bit more grim and robust than she was used to. Many of the monks had their hair grown out and where wearing personalized robes. As she approached she saw that there where even separate training fields for all four types of bending and another field where nonbenders practiced with lethal weapons. Once arrived she was introduced and told that everyone at the temple also have a station and since she was young they would give her an easy job for now, so she was given night-watch duties for her first month. There she learned the basics of the Southern Air Nomad style of firebending, which used firebending in larger more sweeping arcs to try to defend against your foes and then trying to counter-attack when they are off-balance. As she got older Padma had to learn to defend from wastelander attacks. Because of her age, she was often regulated to the back where she could do little to help with her style of firebending.
After the terrorist attack on the Republic City Air Temple, all four Air Temples where expected to send members to re-populate it. Unfortunately for Padma, the Southern Temple couldn’t spare to send many experienced benders, so she was one of the monks sent. Resentfully, Padma made her way via ship to Republic City, half-wishing some Wastelanders would attack them en route.

After that annoying mess with Taiga ruining another date for him, Aki managed to get out of the house to spend another day with Rei. They had already agreed to meet today and he decided to bring some water tribe takeout with a nice bottle of wine. Fortunately his sidekick wasn't here to drink this one. Aki was convinced this date would go just fine without any outside interference, which tended to be a consistent issue for him. Arriving to her apartment, he knocked on the door.
Akitaru-Nonbender -Ambitious Archer Age: 24Height: 6'2 Sexuality: StraightRelationship Status: Single Health Status: HealthyMain Weapon:Arsenal
Aki yawned as he woke up in his High Rise Apartment after another successful heist with Taiga. He was quite excited to add to his vast collection of wealth and riches, he was glad he had completed the girl's training and have her as an apprentice. What he liked about her was the fact that she never seemed that concerned about money, he got away with only having to give her 36% of their profits. A fact he was quite happy with. Aki was looking forward to a dinner date had tonight with a beautiful Fire Nation girl he'd been seeing. He even managed to get a bottle of expensive wine imported from her home nation. The male expected it to the deal breaker that got him laid tonight. Only thing he had to worry about was getting his "adopted little sister" out of the house.
I've been away from the wikia for about 2 to 3 months. Full time work and night school has taken up almost all of my time, and weekend freetime is still few and far between.
Unfortunately, with my little free time going to other side projects (creative writing, game development, etc.) I will be departing from the wikia. This wikia has been a great part of my past 2-3 years during my free times. Having never rp'd before but always wanting to try it, this was an awesome way to begin with it. I've met and rp'd with some truely awesome people on this site and has encouraged me to consider continuing it in a offline setting sometime in the future. It helped me keep my mind off stuff in my life that otherwise would have been brought me down. I know this isn't the best time for me to be leaving with the state of the site, but I may pop up back in the Discord every now and again. However, I just can't make a commitment to rping anymore with how wild my schedule is.
My characters and their associated image are all up for grabs for other users to use. I know the wikia's been slowed down in recent months, but I hope this wikia, and/or at least the community, continues to grow and be connected. Best of luck to all of yah!
Kairo-Airbender -Valiant Tempest Age: 21Height: 5'11 Sexuality: StraightRelationship Status: Single Health Status: HealthyMain Weapon: Bending (Sword and Knives) – "Some people would tell you what I do is wrong. I disagree when the state of the world makes me want to kill everyone responsible. It'd be wrong if it didn't."
Kairo stood over the rooftop of a random building in Zhili Street, dressed in his full vigilante get up while gazing over the well-lit streets at night. The fact that all these people had managed to recover and rebuild after the bombing was enough for him to smile under his mask. He casually drew his gunto and rested it on his shoulder, the metal blade was quite a treasure to him. "Wonder when they're gonna show up?" Kairo wondered as he enjoyed the cool breeze.
Nauja-Waterbender -"The Silent Giant" Age: 16Height: 6'7Weight: 147 lbs Sexuality: Bi-sexualRelationship Status: Single Health Status: HealthyMain Weapon: Tanto – "Call me the jolly green giant again and I'll slit your throat..."
"Ah, so this is the infamous crime ridden shithole I've heard about all this time. At least this is the nicer part of here...I hope..." Walking down the sidewalk, nonchalantly towering over the few people walking by who turned to stare in shock and amusement, Nauja was recently dropped off from her father’s private ship and was given the address to her quiet home in Yu Dao. But she didn't wish to go to her new place until she gets to look around for anything worth her time. Not able to spot a good bare within her eyesight, the tall woman settled with the cafe across the street. It is morning, so beer isn't exactly the best thing to start off for breakfast. Sitting down on one of the tables at the balcony with her long legs crossed, she took off her shades and called one of the waiters in the cute maid uniforms. Placing her order, she slightly turned to check her out with a smirk as she walked away before taking a book out of her bag "Well, got nuthin much to do so back to my erotica..."
Nauja has grown to the height of six feet and seven inches with the weight of one hundred and forty seven inches. She has a tall and curved figure, tanned skin, black hair with green highlights curled to two short buns and a braid and green eyes. Nauja also wears green lipstick, and arm band, and ear rings. Usually, she would wear black pants with a large belt buckle with the shape of a skull with fangs and a one piece buttoned to her waist to match in the design of spider webs and knee high boots with mid sized heels.
Born into a high class life within the walls of Ba Sing Sei, Nauja life was given to her by her by her mother Lien and her father Tien Khan. While Lien was a respectable scholar with the ambition to live a life of luxury and peace, Tien was the model business man in the mass distribution of vehicles from satomobiles to ships. But under that, he is also earns a living producing a distributing drugs and illegal weapons to anyone that demands it. It was only by mere coincidence that the two have met at formal party within the inner wall which Tien hosted and Lien was invited to with the help of some friends. A simple meeting between the two transitioned to a full fledged marriage the next few years later followed by the birth of their first daughter.
Throughout Nauja's childhood, her father didn't cease from running his company and his other secretive business which lead to her mother to mostly raise her. It was never a matter of him being too busy to be with his own daughter much less that he would rather work than to do so. Lien has tried very hard to make her child the spitting image of her when she was younger by making her read a lot. Being nine when she started going to school, she was constantly teased for her abnormal height. This was the stage in her life that not only discovered her short fuse for any one who made fun of her but also triggered her ability to water bend by accidently freezing orange juice in her tormenter's throat while she was drinking it. Seeing what happened and contacting her mother, the teacher's took care of the situation and sent her home early from school. Hearing what happened through her daughter's perspective, Lein decided to drop her from school and asked her husband to hire home tutors.
Four years passed since the nearly fatal incident at the school and Nauja couldn't be happier being taught at the comfort of her own home. Learning to water bend and other things without anyone talking about her behind her back or openly mocking her about how tall she was made it much easier to enjoy what she wanted. She especially loved how her father has been there to see how much she was progressing which served as a good source of motivation to try harder. But not realizing it, he was training her to learning about his business and waiting to let her in on what he was really doing.
After revealing to her the truth on how he gains most of his wealth and making her promise on her life that she wouldn’t tell a single soul about his illegal activities, even her own mother, she was granted harder regiments of studying and water bending practice until she was sixteen. At that age, Nauja had mastered everything her father hand planned to teach her from helping him out with her business to snuffing out the undesirables who wish to sabotage his business. While she did make a good hitman and never once failed her father, she was never really planning to do anything grand like taking over his business. Nauja planned a year after her training to save up all she could to leave and expand her horizon in republic city to do whatever she wanted since it the Citizenship Application was so easy to fill out.
The only thing that kept her back was her parents who were sometimes too controlling on her free time. She didn’t tell her mother that she decided to leave the nest at such a young age but made sure to confront her father about her leaving which he was a little reluctant to let his only daughter go. But considering the work she’s done for him, her father accepted it and even went so far as to pay of all of her expenses when she gets there just so as long as she doesn’t get herself in trouble. Giving her appreciative farewell to Tien, she told him to tell her mother she was going on vacation before packing what she needed and taking a private ship to the city.
Nauja has always been a brash and wild woman ever since her father took her under his wing at very young age. Growing up to be a great drug dealer and a decent enough hitman, she most often refer to be tactical street wise woman despite being raised as a bookworm thanks to her mother. She usual stays serious and apathetic towards the target she's after, but beyond work, she's casually calm and nice towards the people she meets despite sounding irritated and rude. Nauja can't really help with her short fuse when anyone gets in her way or worse, making fun of her height. With most of her life being consumed by books and work, she doesn’t really know how to fit in with new people and be more social. Often relying on someone else making the first move to talk to her and staying quiet unless business was involved. She would often space out in her own mind when she’s focused on something and not really care for her surroundings until something snaps her back into reality.

Well after a brief discussion amongst staff, we've decided it's simply not worth it to keep the Ryuketsu Clan as it's own independent faction since users given commanding positions in it have kept leaving. And now for all intents and purposes, the RC will be treated as a subdivision of the Jade Dragon effective immediately. Characters all have the choice to stay and serve Akar and become JD members or merely leave to pursue their own paths elsewhere. This could mean either joining a different faction (I hear Kyuuseishu's looking for people..) or just being archived. Please comment below what you'd like to do with your RC char if you own any.
Hello ARPW goers! The second event for Lan Shen Investigations has been approved and will be sent into motion soon! If you have any characters in LSI you want in the event, post below. Any questions post those below too.
The Blue Spirit -Knight in Navy Height: 6'1"Weight: 173 lbs Sexuality: Heterosexual Main Weapon: Tonfa – We fall because someone pushes us, we get up so we can push back. Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions.
He was not joking when he told them, that he would find them. It had been nearly a week since the raid on at the Green house, the spirit nowhere to be found after the attack. Rumors spread city wide about the event, and murmurs of the spirit spread from the small Yu Dao to the Republic City boarders. Different responses was struck by those who heard it, however never too extreme. He just seemed like a less threatening version of the terror that another vigilante group inspired within them. Still his name was beginning to get tossed around as a potential threat to operations, however brief it may be.
For the first time since the beginning of the phantom's tale, he expanded his reach. Now within the confines of the big city, he would uphold his end of their deal. He easily navigated his way to the Faceless hide out, being followed by a slightly smaller figure behind him. There was much to discussed.
Summary: After the shocking revelation of a connection between several murders and the sinister human trafficking leader, Yamori, the LSI ramps up its investigation. Lead by Iluak, the group heads to the scene of the crime and consults with Naomi as well as several officers on scene to figure out any details regarding the death of Ping, Liu’s father, hoping to find any clues at all surrounding the death of Yamori. Based on a few clues, the group makes their way to the whereabouts of Yamori’s last known location.
At his location, the LSI members are given a description of the area and are asked to investigate, finding anything unusual. Combat will take place at some point during this segment, and difficulty in battles may affected by how well the group investigates the area
The end result reveals that by finding out about Yamori and his group, LSI may have just opened up a pandora’s box of crime. Can Yu Dao remain the crime-free haven its citizens believe it to be, or will it face the same fate as that of Republic City?
Secret Entrance (around Yu_Dao/Memorial_Park)
Factions involved: LSI
Naomi: Ping’s Widow, Liu’s mother, and Jinshu’s lover.
Various officers and workers: Suspects at the crime scene.
Yamori and company.
If there's any further details I need to add, kindly let me know (I have a bunch of details and the whole rough plot guide written out)
